This new standard line of drives features a rugged construction and reliability that is based on more than 50 years of experience in designing custom drives. Here are some of the features that make the exceptional performance of Fessler Reducers possible: All steel welded housings, furnace stress relieved to insure dimensional stability under the most severe operating conditions. Heat treated alloy steel gearing, designed to meet or exceed AGMA ratings. Tapered roller bearings on all shafts provide for minimum friction and easy starting. Splash lubrication system with troughs and oil dams, a failsafe method of insuring proper lubrication of all bearings and gear meshes. For special applications, force feed lubrication can be provided . Dipstick is standard. Sight glass for oil level indication can be furnished on request.
